This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement no 727451

The MUSES project was a two year Horizon 2020 funded project exploring the opportunities for Multi-Use in European Seas across five sea basins: Baltic Sea, North Sea, Mediterranean Sea, Black Sea, and Eastern Atlantic. The core deliverable of the MUSES project is the Action Plan presenting real opportunities for multi-use in European Seas, including the scope for innovation and Blue Growth potential. It highlights where benefits can be realized, draws attention to barriers that can be overcome and provide recommendations on what actions are needed in order to enable this. The Action Plan and its Executive summary is available for downloading https://muses-project.eu/downloads/

Final conference of the MUSES project took place on 10th October 2018 in Brussels, Belgium. It was the opportunity to engage with a wide range of stakeholders from the business community, public administrations, research and academia. Throughtout the number of presentation, pannels and interactive sessions, final conference of the MUSES project offered a platform for all stakeholders who has been engaged during the project, to highlight their particular cases, needs and concerns in further promoting concrete realisation of multi-use projects.
